Here is a simple recipe you can try this weekend. This recipe works with different fishes too. You could use batang, cod, grouper, tioman or kim mu lu. Technically it works wells with all white fishes. Our favourite is the batang.
There are several spices used in this recipe to bring out the freshness and sweetness of the fish. The more uncommon spice is the torch ginger. Here is a picture of the torch ginger, you would probably seen it being used in making rojak!
