Food loaded with cream sauce and cheese is always a comfort food for me on wet rainy day. Last Wednesday was raining non stop for the entire day and i decided to make my all time favourite - Baked Fish with Cream Sauce.
I usually need to cook my dinner in less than 30 minutes after work (I need to eat before 8pm before i die of hunger. Haha. I'm being dramatic). My secret ------> ready made sauces and not cooking from scratch. Well, I'm a anyhow chef anyway!
I always have a bottle Leggo's Carbonara sauce as my cream sauce and i'm using it for my baked fish. There are various fishes that you can use for the baked fish. Usually, i would use grouper fillet or dory fillet, depending what i have in my fridge. For this recipe, i had used dory fillet.
1. Lay the thawed dory fillet in a baking tin / glass casserole.
2. Cover the dory fillet with carbonara sauce completely. I tend to use a lot more than i need as i love my cream sauce!
3. Cover the top of the dory fillet with shredded cheese.
4. Baked the fish in the oven at 180-200 degC for 20-25 minutes.
5. Viola! Bon Appetit!
